Nope.

PC worth about $1000 Required to run this ♥♥♥♥ (well). you have to be some kind of hardcore gamer to play this. I know it's sad :(

well, there goes 2$. my pc meets all requirments accept i think for the 1 gb of vram, im not sure.

The problem is that this game is not well optimized, and you need a lot of FPS to play (60+ AT LEAST); So if your PC barely meets the requirement you'll end up with a 640x480 resoltion, low textures, no shades, etc. at barely get 30FPS :(
Some guys with good machines even purposely lower the settings to get more FPS :)

its a very heavily Cpu bound game, if u ve a dual core, try to OC the Cpu... u need at least 3,5ghz to ve some low frames crippled fun even on 4,0ghz its not enough and the cpu usage will still reach 100% cpu usage on both cores , i guess like a 4,8-5ghz dual core could be enough dunno...
(check the numerous overclocking sides for ur specific cpu and how to overclock and what to take care about)
I can't even Jan 7, 2014 @ 7:24pm
LoL ! You're pretty screwed mate sorry.

Let us know how good it runs

800x480 is a nice resolution, it will run faster than 800x600 and is as well a lot closer to a native 16:9 resolution (it's 15:9 or 5:3)

Not really. A PC like 800 USD will run this fine. Just have to know what you have.

I doubt if you can play L4D2 on 30 FPS that you can play NS2.

well, i compared it to l4d2 because it had simmilair system requirments for the most part.

u can OC this Cpu quite easily up to 4,3-4.5ghz (u ve an unlocked variant), just look that u do not exceed over 1.5volt and/or 70°..... try aiming for a maximum ~1.48-1.49volt showing with the tool CPU-Z (in bios it ll be like 1.525volt showing/beeing at 1.48-1.49volt in CPU-Z). Temperature aim for max ~66-67° (for that u should get at least 2-3 temp watching programs coz u cant just trust 1) and u could put ur motherboard bios on 70° Cpu safety temperature immediatly shutdown, it will shut off the pc prompt when reached 70°.
then with that OCed Cpu u should get like ~ 25(23-28) frames mid/lategame battles and at begin or just with 1-2 marines engaging in a corridor u should get like 40-45 frames spoken Cpu wise (Cpu usage will be hitting 100% alot lategame and should be the bottleneck).
but with that integrated AMD Radeon HD 7540D graphics dunno how much it sucks and ll bottlenecking before the OCed cpu...

When I compare these two games:

I play on highest setting with I5 3570K non OC, 7850 Asus DC 2 GB I get over 150 FPS on L4D.

With NS2 I get 80+ FPS when I do not stream on high settigns. When I stream with obs I get 70ish and end game it spikes to to 30-45 occasionally.

L4D is a 'MUCH" lighter game.

Its to be seen if you can properly play NS2 with a good amount of FPS, but I do not expect anything above 40 FPS tbh. SInce INtel 3570K's 4000 hits 40 fps on medium.

Also played max L4D intel HD 4000 and also needs me 100+ FPS.
