Do people still play?
I got this with the Humble Bundle a bit ago, and finally was able to play the game with a new computer. When I got on there were only a few barely populated servers with people in them. Is it an off day or is it just "dead?"

Are you joking? Learn how to use the filters on the server browser. You must have settings blocking most of them so they don't show up because there are tons of full servers.

1,787 players currently. Might be a problem with the filters or with your firewall.

I have seen a lot of people playing and I have to admit it is really fun. I mean if you get some of your friends in game with you and you have decent players on your team and other team. Youre in for some fun.

If your playing in NZ, AU or EU and are not on peak hours you would have trouble finding a game.

I don't know about NZ and AUS, but that is certainly not the case with EU. It has been a while (before all the sales) that I had trouble finding a populated server with my preferences (16-18 players, no russian, no french servers).
Ever since the sales I get at least 10-20 populated servers (that was on Christmas morning though :)

Even with a good ping?
Right now, I only find like 12 potentially playable servers (performance >97) (ping<87)(no rookie)(10-18 players)(no full/empty) And they aren't even barely full with 3 of them being russian servers.
So basicly there is not a single server if I refuse to play on servers with frenchmen and russians.
I'm playing on EU too.

How does one go about optimizing the server list? I only see probably 3 NA servers with players in them

in SEA I ever only see 2 servers, either all full or all empty, rarely in between....

EU and NA have plenty of players, you can find full servers pretty much 24/7. Other regions are not nearly as populated.

There are plenty of players, I'm new to this game as well and didn't have any trouble finding a server

im getting mixed awnsers here...
i see a ton of servers and some of them are barely populated one is full and the rest are empty at the veryleast cs 1.6 and tfc, at least onced in natural selection 2. Is ther some mistake or workaround im missing?
