idea - better indicators of your damage done to others
When I kill someone I want the game to display in a more obvious manner my success in doing so. Sometimes I have to press ~ and look around to see if i actually did. I'd also like the game to play a distinctive sound if my attacks have done any damage. If I give someone else an assist kill I'd also like that information made well known to me.
I need this to improve my gameplay by seeing how affective I am and because it's fun to know of my successes.

I know this is not the place to get developer attention so I just wanted to see some other opinions on it.

Go to options and enable damage numbers.

Sound won't work because this game has horrible horrible horrible interp, and the hits are getting registered about a second later, so it's not gonna be any useful.

interp?

Essentially how the lag compensation works in this game. The damage is so ridiocusly delayed, that by the time you notice it will be to late. The game interpolates by an amount of 100ms, in addition to any latency that normally occurs, so you pretty much get huge delays in hits actually "registering". If you would implement a sound that plays when you (truely) hit someone that would be delayed too obviously (just like the damage numbers)

There is damage feedback in the game, i.e. sounds (i.e. sound when a lifeform is hurt), and also damage spirites (but these don't reflect whether you actually hit).
i've noticed this interp myself. reminds me of Ghost Recon Online's interp.
