i would definatly play this game but the price is to mutch. you should make it free to play. lots of games earn eaven more money with ingame item selling or something like that. make difirent skins like in dota2...

Based on your "writing" it still seems that you are kid (with a bad english education). Free-to-Play isn´t good as I wrote already and only because some companies decide to create Free-To-Play games doesn´t mean that now each game must be f2p. Consider that going f2p is also risky - if it fails - what should they do? There are still ongoing costs for servers, administration which needs to be payed even if sales are for sure not the highest atm but I guess they also cover some expenses. f2p --> no increase of players --> no sales --> no money --> end of ns2? And UWE is not such a big company as Valve with a limited budget...

If you have no money (or time to wait) go out and play with a ball but I´ll try to give a statement a last time:

My personal experience is that f2p ruined for example TF2, adding all this ♥♥♥♥ like hats, weapon models made it feel odd but it seems like that kiddies love this ♥♥♥♥ since the player-base increased dramatically (also trading feature helped for sure). Any good game does not need such things and I love UWE for keeping this up - one reason why the player numbers are not the highest is for sure on the one side that some people may have been disappointed from UWE, expteced more or whatever. The other side is that during sales, the player numbers increases for a short time and decreases after some weeks again because the learning curve is such high in this game compared to Call of Duty ♥♥♥♥ meaning its kinda frustrating for new people who will ragequit quickly and never come back.

The average player numbes in the last 30days are about 393 - with a peak of players with 1306. I´m still looking forward to the work of the CDT and there is still a chance to get it really going again/increase the player numbers - the end is not near :).

F2P games suck anyways because they have marketplaces where u need to spend more money then a AAA title with all dlc's :D so never say anything about F2P games they are money greedy and mostly no fun if you wont empty your pockets :D and yeah TFC was way better then TF2 / L4D1 and L4D2 same when it got released it was awsome now all servers run mods and the game just sucks.
Games should be standard without any mods and skins like it should be played mods only rape the gameplay of the base game.
Im totaly no fan of all these modded games most games are fun at release if you look @ the game 1 year later theres nothing left of the base game and every servers is modded with useless crap.
Btw dont buy this game lol they promised so much last 2 years since its release and they done nothing they promised optimization it never came they promised a smooth engine it never came instead they left the game started a new underwater game named subnautica and gave the game to the comminity to update since that it only got worse and worse the game was in better state when it got released then it is now , loading times got 10x longer then when it got released textures loading very slow this engine is the worst one I seen in years and trust me the community updates wont change anything anymore the game is going to die maybe the 1000 die hard fans will keep playing but after 2 years even I as a fanboy know this game is not going to make it you can better download halflife again and install the mod u will have more fun playing the mod then this broken game.

Btw message for the fanboys :D every game that got dropped by its own creators didnt make it so why would it be diffrent with NS2 you must have high hopes if you think this game will get better after only seeing skins comming for sale to make money for subnautica NS2 is a money grab for the new game and thats it.
I bought enough indie games to know how it ends make money start a new game like all indie company's do they are money horny ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The greatest barrier to new players joining this game are basically the ones pouting hardest that there are no newbies for them to stomp.

Pretty easy to identify the cause of this game's dying: The "rookie servers" infested with 40-1 K/D ratio people that are definitely not rookies.

I got it for 7 euros and I like this game, seems to me you're too cheap. Are you really gonna bankrupt if you pay a few bucks and try.
