Why are exo's still so weak?
Why haven't any dev's (Or people working on NS2 that may not be a dev (?) ) taken notice to the somewhat obvious fact that exosuits are far too weak for their 'supposed' role? Exosuit's are one of my favorite things about marines, but with the state they are in, it make's it quite hard to like them.

Exos are not weak. It's the people who use them. In short if you think exos are weak it's not the case. it's the crapass skills you have. If you don't know how to use a exo spare you personal resoruces on a jetpack or something.

The armor is too low, move speed too high.
The overall idea of the exo is not shown in the current stats it has.
No where did I say that skill was involved, exos die. It happens.

The problem is, is that the little alien suckers run around the exo and as they are running around they bite ♥♥♥♥ out of the exo. There are ways to avoid this fate by running away and quickly turning around and then shotting them. When buying the rail gun exo it even states that it requires practice to use the exo.

I commented twice, and provided suggestions on it today, in our official forums.
Return the thrusters to all directional instead of just forward, +15% HP, beaconing no longer effects them.
Bam. They are now viable.

I can agree with what you say, however, getting all those together doesn't happen everyday. Commanders may not use mac's often or forget to send macs with exo's, jetpackers or marines in general would rather shoot than weld, and overall discrimination against exo's all work against having a proficient pilot succeed.

2 jetpackers for same price can kinda do more with no need of Mac building and Exo researching. Onehanded Exo research costs less then Jet if rem right, but jet is more versatile snd cheap so basicaly team want it first.

Exos are too team dependant and vulnerable for burst atacks. If it had analog of nanoshield as alternative to thrusters (using same energy bar), it could give Exo bit of survivability without making it tougher in general.
