Curious question about the new DLC

Is this some limited dlc that will be removed from the store again when this world champ event is over? Because it doesnt say anywhere that this will be removed and if this is somekind of 1 time only special event, then ofc i would like to join it, but if its dlc/event that will last forever, then atm i can wait with purchasing as i havent played too much of Natural Selection 2 yet.
