He said Australian servers not worldwide, there are indeed very little aussie's playing it. Since the Monash servers went down there are now only 3 servers that are basically always full, then there's the 20 other always empty servers.

The reason so many populated servers are locked in Aus atm is because teams are practising for the AusNS2 league which began this week.

Worth getting yes, community is still very much alive and I play nearly every night and have little trouble finding a near full server with <80 ping.

Not to be obnoxious -- but how about filling up an empty server in your location?

Or better yet, purchase and run your own server for your location.

Sometimes the solution to the problem is solving it yourself

NS2 Is absolutely worth getting, I was raging quite hard when I originally posted this.
But if you are in Australia you can expect maybe 2 or 3 servers you can join that actually have humans playing and are based in Australia, but over the last few days I find that joining American servers with 200+ ping, is not that bad, skulks have much hate for high latency humans.
Dont get me wrong I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game, have since NS1 first came out.
I am not about to pay good money for any kind of game server these days, and honestly to say oh just throw a heap of money at it is not a solution
