I miss the OLD doubled barrel HMG and other aline abilitys from the first game
Double barreled LMG had 250-375 bullets per magizine and had 3 reloads and is 1/2 the acrruarcy of the guy we use in the game. -and should have the same sound effect from the original-

vs

the Devour ability the onos had, which healed him to what I think was full health and the player wittnessed being eaten alive if he had not been saved in time.

for HMG

vs LMG what we used to use back in the day. -moddified version to run with the games graphics, but still the same sound and original look from ns1.

HMG was pretty good. Although the actual HMG without all the derp combat upgrades/mods only held 125.

Devour can go burn in the deepest depths of whatever hell it crawled from.

I never played the first game. Devour... why do you hate it so?

I believe it's an inherently poorly designed ability which only existed at the time because of the state of Heavy Armor trains (which I also hated) and to give aliens a way to keep marines from recycling equipment.

Hard CCing someone for almost a minute in some circumstances based on their equipment was one of the most infuriating things I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in all my years of gaming, regardless of any drawbracks the ability had. And you even had to sit through the normal respawn queue after you were forced to sit and do nothing except watch the inside of an Onos bum.
