I'll take my concede vote instead, thanks.
I guess we can agree to disagree on this, it's just that so many players say "oh we lost a tech point, now we only have two. Now we must concede."
Instead that a team loose directly. The surrendering team gets nerfed and the not surrendering team gets buffed alot and has to destroy the surrendering teams hive/cc in a given time or the surrendering teams "wins".
It's quiet fun tbh, but confuses ppl who are not used to it.
Concede is a vote, if your team "feels" that it's lost and vote to surrender, they don't have the strengh (either physical or mental) to overcome the situation and win.
Hobocop had it right.
On Veil:
"Oh god, marines have nanao, its gg" "conecede
Well, if can play smart you can hive 3 hives and if you bite all the other restowers, the marines sitting on 3.
So no big deal that the marines have nano in the beginning.
Or:
"Oh my god we only 2 restowers lesft after 10 min, its over" - concede
But they dont have realized that some marines have harrased harvesters nonstop. So they sitting on 2 also most of the time.
Its really over for marines if you lose the complete map, zero restowers left and all aliens left and right from base.
This is concedetime, cause getting slaughtered for 20 min is no fun.
no offense, but maybe you just fail to recognize the point at which the round is lost for your team. from my experience, there are way more rounds that should have been conceded long before they actually end than those in which the losing team folds prematurely.
double 7:30 minute Onos vs no shotguns, W0A1 marines = Concede time.
