I used to have this game few years ago...
but now it disappeared... can anyone tell me why?

A few years ago UWE had to deactivate a number of Steam keys due to credit cards charge-backs. More details can be found at http://unknownworlds.com/blog/beware-shady-key-resellers-and-discount-steam-keys/

Maybe your key was one of those.

Please contact the reseller you bought the game from and ask for support/refund.
