Game doesn't work since update

Since the latest build, the game is no longer working. I either cannot connect to servers, or the game will load indefinitely and/or crashes to desktop. I have well over 250 hours into this game and ran pretty much flawlessly except for the countless in-game bugs and tickrate issues. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I know some self appointed steam discussion moderator will tell me to post on official forums or post into the tech thread, no...I won't go make an account on your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ website for you to tell me you don't know whats wrong 2 weeks after my initial post. I'm just asking if anyone else has had this issue and gotten it fix. Thanks in advance!

I just gave up. The issue has already been posted on UWE's forums and 268 was SUPPOSE to fix the bug. Obviously it has not.

I think it's time to move on.

Thats cool, but 268 actually caused the bug for me. I don't even know how you can release a patch that destroys my perfectly working game file.

Unless you can name one single testing playtesting regimen with reasonable overhead that can account for every possible hardware and software setup, it really isn't that difficult to imagine.

This server crash issues seems to be fairly widespread. Especially given the last two weeks of players per Steam Stats that's showing a decline in active users. And we didn't have this problem before. Honestly though, I'm just so tired of the bugs, crashes, patches taking 1 step forward three steps back that this is just the final straw. And I know I'm hardly the only one. I'm uninstalled and not looking back.

This is a good case of how to taking a struggling game and take it out behind the barn.
