Game menu doesn't respond to mouse.

I just got the game yesterday and when I start it the pop up tells me to optimize but I can't click either of the options, like its not even there. If i esc out of the pop up the main menu still acts like my mouse isnt there. The only thing the mouse will do is highlight the offer buttons, but it won't activate anything. Any suggestions?

Try verifing the cache, and if you can enter the setting turn off Show Tips and Commander Hints
