Failed to allocate, crashes when respawning

ive looked everywhere online and on here for a solution but everytime i die and start to respawn for about 2 seconds then the game freezes and crashes, someone please help so i dont have to give up on this game

disable all your mods. On the official tech forum, that is the advice given. Not all mods are updated to be compatible with the new patch yet. So mods will give you problems til they are updated. May be have no mods for 2 days while the world catches up (time difference).

I just bought the game so i dont have any mods

hmmm, can you post to the official forums at UWE. they will want a crash log.

I'm having the exact same problem. I got an ATI HD 7850, newest stable drivers (14.4), I tried changing graphic settings and switched between DX11/DX9, tried multithread physX but nothing helps. No matter if I play as Alien or Human, around 1 second after I die the game freezes. Every single time. When I played the game back then (which was quite some time ago, maybe 6 months) this never happened and now I started playing again and it crashes every single time.

Verified files and it said that they're all fine. I did not change any settings between the time where it worked and now crashes.

For all those who have issues with crashes at respawn etc. . Please disable all kind of hints in the option menu. This will fix the issue until the next pacth.

There are problems with the used version of awesomium (used to display websites ingame and hint videos) and the render thread.

Cool. Glad to hear your issue has been solved. If you want to read a manual about the game (introduction to mechanics etc...), you can go to the guides section for this game. I wrote a game manual that introduces the game and mechanics slowly (not in a video for a change). I hope you enjoy and get to love this game as much as I do.
