i got a gold on the skulk race training but it doesnt show up on my name. why?

As NS2 is a quite mature product now, not all the badges you see in-game are obtainable anymore, but the skulk challenge is a new addition to the game so I believe there will be new badges for other stuff soon.

The obtainable badges on that list are Commander, Squad 5, Tester badges, and skulk challenge.

and the random drops?

The random drops only provide a steam achievement currently. You need one of each and there are 15 unique items in total. You'll get the achievement the first time you launch the game with 1 of each in your inventory. You can check my inventory if you want to see each of the items.

what is the shadow version of the skulk race badge for?

It's the best badge you can attain, I'm not sure of the time requirement but you need to be a pretty exceptional wall-jumper to get it.

You aren't kidding aboug needing to be an exceptional wall-jumper. I keep failing it by like 0.01s because I psych myself out and always lose momentum for a split nanosecond near the end. lol

You pretty much have to make 100% of your jumps perfectly. Gonna be so rewarding to finally get it. Crazy challenging.

The country flag is only on servers running Shine Epsilon, you should be able to turn it off in Manage Badges, the same as with normal badges. It used to be switched off by clicking 'X' under your name on the Escape menu, but I believe this changed when the manage badges change went in.
