No communication in a team? Happen often.
Toxic players in a multiplayer game? Sure, there are some. You have them in EVERY online game.
You playing with humans and they might no react like you want.
And to answer your Fade question.
How do you defeat the fade, by shooting it.
Best way is with an shotgun waiting at the escape route. So when the fade is low and he retreat for healing, one shot with the shotty and hes down.
Also med support from the commander is important during fights against higher lifefeorms like fades and lerks.
If your not then i would refund it before your 2 hours are up because its not really a game you can pick up and play for 10 minutes here and there and expect to be good at, its an FPS sure but it makes CS:GO look like its running in slow motion.
It felt to me as if the shotgun did pathetic if any damage at all. I could shoot the little things (think they' called Skulks?) three or four times at only a few feet away and they took no damage or very little.
Not really. I already have that with Overwatch. I'd like to get into this game and maybe, over time, I could get into it like that but I am already invested in other games too much to be able to do that with another.
A skulk is insta-dead in short to medium range.
In long rage a shotgun is kinda useless, but thats the nature of a shotgun.
You can kill Fades with 2 and a half shotgun shots alone if its a bad fade.
Nope, I have pretty good aim. I see the pellets hitting. But they don't die. Either bad registry, or latency, unsure of which. Don't have problems like that in games like Overwatch.
So no, your aim cant be that good.
You can basicly shred trough skulks with an shotgun.
And no, the hitreg is ok. You will always have people whining about it.
But thats the typical "Its always the others fault, not mine" syndrom.
You think you have good aim?
Watch this:

It's a gun, not a melee weapon...
Yes. And you're supposed to hit faster, more erratic, stronger lerks and fades as well.
No one said it was a trivial skill to acquire, but the shotgun is undeniably the best anti-lifeform weapon. Having far more experience using the shotgun than you, it's obvious that you are blaming the wrong thing - the gun, rather than your own aim.
It doesn't make any sense to try to compare this to real life.
There is an a couple of game options you can change to help you understand "if" your shots are actually connecting or not.
First you can display hit numbers and second your crosshair will change colour on hits though i think this second may be a mod.
What i use is turn on the hit sounds so you get little beeps when you do damage like you have in quake ect. This is what i use as the hit numbers clutter up the screen.
Also i would download a mod in Steam workshop to change your crosshairs to just a simple dot as again its less clutter around your target ect.
**In the video linked above it shows these options.
There multiple examples how to trap a fade wich should answer your initial question.
Also you see one shotgunner kills 4 skulks alone without reloading.
So instead of learning from the video you blaming the game that its not realistic enough for you.
Whats coming next? Calling us to be toxic cause we said you have no good aim?
"Its always the others fault, not mine" syndrom incoming.
