No CD-key download

I've bought SSE today and downloaded the files through Steam. When I want to start the game, it gives the message that the main server is down and I can't download the CD-key.

How do I solve this or is it a general problem?

i think its a genral problem as i have just got the game from steam and its unable to connect to key server

I've already submitted the problem at Steam support, but I still haven't received an answer.

Naughty hypothetical salvation: I dont say that you would, but since we all bought the game and Steam wont give an answer. You COULD download the crack for DLC/update5. Disable internet and it would work. I think this would be fare since we all paid for this, you can play singleplayer untill Steam fixes the problem. 48 hours with no answers is WAY to bad!

I've received an answer from Steam Support. I just did't have time to apply the solution earlier. I will test it and when it works I will share this solution in the forums. So wait with installing the crack!

I opened a ticket 3 days ago and still no reply.

I'm communicating with Steam support, but still haven't received the final solution. Today I've sent them a printscreen of the error.

I got a message from the yesterday saying that they dont have any keys at this time

steam just has no keys for the game.... i cnatacted them and the two options are that they will either refund you in store credit or onto the card u paid with or you can wait until the keys replenish... still no ETA on the replenishment of the keys
