User Mission Not Listed In Single Missions
So I finally got SSE after playing SS2006 all that time ago. SSE still has no trading/economy system but, the powerful mission editor does open up some new possibilities and I was itching for a modern ship sim for a change. I got the SSE Collection non-Steam.

After creating a few testing missions to get to know everything, I created a fairly large mission with interlinked Rotterdam/Dover/Atlantic Ocean/New York environments along with AI traffic and shipping across the board. The basic "world map" for my mission is in place but first I want to test how things work before starting work on adding trading and ferry jobs for the player.

The problem is that the mission don't show up under single missions, all language options corresponds (game and map in english) and I don't get any errors on the map when saving. All map options, title and descriptions is complete and I also tried saving the mission under a different name with no success. The previous testing missions shows up no problem.

I added the Bangalore as a starting ship for testing with the Agile Solution, Winner and tug as additional player ships, could one of these ships be the problem? Or, could the multiple interlinked environments cause a problem perhaps? considering that all AI ship waypoint triggers for all environments runs at the start of the mission. What about the way the environments are linked? Currently I use looped "move to environment" triggers so that the player can move back and forth between environments at will, could this cause problems perhaps?

Another question: Is it possible to enable the freeroam game mode's AI ships in user created missions? It would help a lot instead of adding AI ships manually one by one for each environment.

Unfortunately I cannot upload the map at this time, being limited to mobile internet data at the moment so, feel free to request more information if needed.

Thanks

Nevermind, the Bangalore was the culprit, it's a non-playable boat. I suggest mission creators go to freeroam and go through the actual list of playable ships there, the playable ship list within the editor has a few non-playable ships within the list.

All works well, now to start adding fishing and freight jobs...

Now that I have everything sorted, would anyone still be interested in a mission like this? I may be a little to late on the SSE scene.

I recreated the mission with a sort of basic economy in which the player can do jobs to make money, buy new ships, cover upkeep costs and buy port property for generating additional income. Nothing really advanced but it works. The game is still heavy on performance so the overall map is currently limited to Rotterdam, the Solent (instead of Dover), the Atlantic and New York. There's currently only a few freight jobs between the different environments as well as fishing and courier jobs in the Solent. The player can buy the Sigita and Winner with the Carthagena Delight as a starting boat with buyable port property in Rotterdam, New York and Southampton harbour.

I actually created it for personal use but, I can still see to uploading it somewhere if anyone wants to give it a go. I may have to write up a basic guide for job locations, ship locations etc. in such a case.
