Thoguh many compare M&B WF&S to Warband,
it doesn't make justice with this game.
The key feature upon which the comparison is made is guns,
and those drastically change the combat.
In M&B and Warband it's more simple and easier, you can be a one man army,
thinning the enemy's army while your troops engage the now more weaker bulk on the enemy's army.
But in WF&S, combat is now more realistic and harder.
You have to plan ahead and use the terrain and your troop versatility to your advantage.
You need to think, is it better to have a highly armored units to serve as a target for the enemy's marksmen,
to deplete their ammunition, making them easier to handle by your cavalry,
or is it better to pound them with marksmen. While your horde of infantrymen closes on the enemy
and overrunnig them by sheer numbers and using as an advantage the slow reload speed of the muskets.
I truly enjoyed the more historical take of this expansion on eastern europe, (though I'm a bit bias because of my origins).
The towns are truly beautiful and much better than the previous games.
And it can be always improved by mods (I recommend WF&S Enhanced), which further enhance the game.
Worth the money
