Shades of Darkness map pool size for multiplayer

I'm interested in SoD, but only about the multiplayer part. So my question is:
-is it worth?
-are there all maps included? (so also these from the basic game)
-is it in a for mbalanced and compitionious-related usable?
-are some bugs fixed? (my 2.1 basic version is buggy as hell)
to relate it, i'm playing this series since 1st version
