Heroes of Might and Magic III
Guys, do you think it's possible that Steam will add Heroes 3? Recently they have re-released some old titles and I just thought maybe Steam will continue with that old school releases? I know about GOG.com, but I also would like to have some classic games in my steam library.

Heroes II is the best ever. Heroes III is overrated.

You can add a launch link to an installed, non-Steam game to show up in your Steam "Library", but if it needs a game install CD in drive to play, you'll still need it, which is why I don't set up steam for older non-steam games I got on CD / DVD.

Under the Games Menu in your Steam window its "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library".

You actually reminded me, I do have GOG versions of Descent 1&2 (plus DXRebirth) and my personal top-5 lifetime favorite, Independence War 2; they don't need a CD in drive, I am going to add them in now.

We could ask for Heroes 2 too.

H2 is better storywise, but H3 is longer...

why dont you just add it as a non-steam game? Does the overlay not work with your gog copy?

I dunno, who owns those, Ubisoft? Would be nice if they re-released II and III after the letdown VI was.
