Answer: Steam Petition RE: Ubisoft
Everyone who signed the complaints in the mentioned petition (Steam Petition RE: Ubisoft) already participated in such a petition by purchasing the game. I bet at least half of all you knew that DRM is used and that DRM is crap. You were warned by many other people, everywhere on the internet. But you ignored it. You even laugh and made stupid comments as though you were the smart and ralaxed one consumer who just have fun while others complain about trivia. Now your petition is a trivia of no importance. You can cry a river, while ubisoft is working on its next game(s).

As I replied to you in another post, roadricus: If you have nothing to contribute to this forum besides grief you can leave. I assure you that no one will miss you. What's funny is you don't even have the game to the forums that you're trolling in; Goodbye.

I think I can write in any forum I wish, without asking you for the permission.
I want people to understand the stupidness of they behaviour.

I do not insert my interpretations, i just reflect what they actually did buying the game and what they now do, signing this petition, and show them how stupid and nonsense it is. I see no discernment, instead further non-sense behaviours sending other away instead of facing the facts. Its just a result people trying to protect they ego at any cost, no matter if it does make sense or not. People acting like that, usually act like that their whole life, because this method won't change anything - so they will have to do it forever. And they keep it going over and over again, because its SIMPLE.

If you want to show a publisher what you think about it, participate in a petition by not buying theyr products. I would understand if it was the first time and DRM and other crap stuff has not critics.

^ you make yourself look like more of a fool than anyone with your resentful, skeptical, presumptuous, judgemental, demoralizing behavior. Your negativity will get you nowhere in life, nor will it here. If anyone should be ashamed, it's you. You sat there and spent your free time just to criticize people with legitimate reasons that had nothing to do with you.

If your idea of fun is downing on other people's frustrations then you probably need help yourself in some way. *shrug*

For your consideration I understand your logic to a degree. I just cannot pat someone on the back when they think it's acceptable to harass other people for entertainment.

Which negativity? So being smart and not buying ♥♥♥♥, which will cost me another bunch of my nerves is bad? Instead I should buy and support those products? Being like a child, which "wants" no matter what it costs? I know what happen when I put my fingers in a socket. Thats why I just don't do it. And I'm quite happy with that. The problem is, that everyone is grown up, but still like a child and putting his fingers in a socket and crying over and over again. Watching this stupidness can be funny, like watching animals in a zoo, but sometimes it is going on your nerves, because you try to understand this stupidness but its impossible.

And the funniest thing is, they even behave like kids and think theyr are the cool one. Somethin' like: "easy lets have just some fun" and then "oh my god I didn't want it to happen".

You should really check your view of the things. Somethin' isn't right with it.

You all just drag people into a situation when no other alternative publisher is available, which don't use those ♥♥♥♥ty systems. And that is the only reason why I care about that stupid behavior at all.

Very funny thing. By a quick scan I can't find a single positive or neutral topic in this forum. Jumped to this topic from my profile, so I didn't see the topics at first place. In games, which are developed by publisher which care about their image and customers its a bit different. You see people discuss, giving feedback or just talking about this and that.

Also: Its like it didn't change since 3 month! I seen complaints 5 month ago. I seen them 3 month ago and wrote here something about that matter. Now I'm back here and same ♥♥♥♥.

I see it was a good decision not taking far cry 3 and its addon for free as a radeon buyer. Far Cry 3 and its addon were the only games I could pick from UPlay. Everything else was on steam. So i took other games.

I didn't buy HOMM. I read about it first, but not everyone does that. And that's acceptable. But I have bought other games from Ubisoft, only to realize, AFTER the purchase, that I was being pushed into Uplay. From there I had nothing but problems from both Uplay and Ubisoft support in general. I think it's completely reasonable that people petition Uplay. Perhaps they cannot remove it from their released games, but perhaps community feedback like the petition you're verbally crapping on will prevent future debacles like HOMM and other products. People trying to provide their negative feedback doesn't really need your scrutiny, nor is it useless.

One cannot just assume everyone has access to forums when they're shopping at a retail location and they find/buy a product that appears good. Only to find that it's full of bloatware.

Just because you have more careful purchasing practices doesn't necessarily mean everyone else in the gaming community is supposed to, or even knows how to. Can't you just empathize?
Or perhaps even try thinking from another person's shoes? You are being critical of other people whom you don't understand, because they don't do what you do, or perhaps because they are more ignorant about such things. But I see no reason why that entitles you to take a verbal crap on them. I'm glad people are different. Not everyone in the PC gaming world is a forum geek and a researcher. Not everyone has access to such info when making their purchases.

There are so many variables in how and why people buy products, it's hardly wise to assume everyone is required to do things as I, or you do.

Children are going to buy this product. You're going to sit there point your finger at them harassingly and behave benevolently and pretend you're proving some great point? You probably ARE sitting there talking crap at children. Does that make you feel stronger? Or somehow more intelligent now?

They're f-ing children man. Picking on the meeker, the weaker, the lesser, and the more ignorant is silly no matter how you spin it.

I get it, but it's probably better that we just move on.

I do. And this is not kind of people I attacked. Its people who know the problems and still buy, because they want and because "who cares, have fun". Now I wish them a lot fun.
