Might & Magic: Heroes VI

Might & Magic: Heroes VI

Completely Broken: Do not buy or download again!
Complete waste of my time and money. Uplay launcher is a complete disaster, and currently crashes immediately upon login. This means you won't be playing ANY Ubisoft games whatsoever. Looks like the free watchdogs game with my new video card will also be wasting my time (I wont even bother installing it).
As far as Might and Magic VI goes: same thing: BUGS BUGS BUGS! Last time I was able to even boot the game my session ended with me looking at a black screen while all the sound effects were audible. Must be something hard to fix cause Ubisoft has completed ignored support / patching on this game. Sure they released a patch A YEAR AGO that solved none of the issues it mentions in patch notes.
Ubisoft is garbage. I am DONE spending any of my hard earned money on their crap software.

That suffering you were inflicted, it's instant karma for buying a Ubisoft game.

Right... sorry you're having trouble but I'm playing it just fine. Maybe you should learn to right click the UPlay launcher and run as administrator before blaming Ubisoft, hm?

Whoa you spent so much time on Uplay you have the Ubisoft attitude too. If the user doesn't like it, they're stupid. We shouldn't change anything. If the user can't run it, they're stupid. We don't need to fix anything.

Overall ♥♥♥♥ the user, they're just these morons that should give us money and get lost. If they don't get lost, let's make everything difficult for them to frustrate them and make them go.

There is a big problem with Ubisoft. If you email them with regard a generic problem, then the problem is all and only your. They are always right, and you are always wrong. But... When many people complain of their games something is not right... Why with other publishers the problems are limited and very specific on the user configuration and for Ubisoft this doesn't happen? Why in every circumstance the problem is the firewall, internet connection and modem of the users (an excuse very general and unprovable) ? Maybe they have no regard for quality control? Why? Why this is not true for other games of other producers?

Their website is off the same high standard as their launcher, you try and submit a support ticket and it crashes, bringing up an error screen saying it has a technical error, please try again later.

Yes, so much time. Like, a whopping 5 minutes before I figured out the issue since I just got this yesterday and never had UPlay before. They must work on my mind really fast. I'll let you know if I get any "problems" like you.

So you're saying your one time experience with Uplay tells more than my multiple encounters with their Uplay, customer support and game design? Okay.
Congratz though, I'm genuinely happy for you. Ubisoft might just not have been able to rip you off. Hold on with thanking them (for giving you the product you paid for, trust me with them that's an accomplishment!) until you actually play the game, a few weeks see if the DRM likes you or not.

I've been playing it in all of my spare time since I bought it, and not once has it given me trouble. But I will let you know in a couple of weeks if anything changes, just in case.

I guess the DRM likes me. I have five games that activate on Uplay. I have over 300 hours of playing those games that require Uplay. Only once was I not able to login but the problem was soon resolved when I tried again a little while later. Yes, only once in all those hours of needing Uplay did I experience a little inconvenience. I can conclude that my somewhat vast experience with Uplay has been very positive.

I can see from your posts that you don't have M&M: Heroes VI. I am curious to know how many games you have that require Uplay and what were all those bad experiences you had to endure.

I also have games on Uplay and never had any problems. Usually I buy a game from the Uplay store or other store key (Gamersgate or Gamefly, for example), never from Steam, in order to avoid double clients at the same time. In this case, however, is the presence of Conflux that worries me.
