Is this game hard?

How easy/hard is it? Is the AI any good at all? Too many games with submarines end up with completely useless AI that fails to be a threat.

vanilla game is easy.

if anything turn up the realism to 100%. that way you dont get map contacts which makes it devilishly simply to evade escorts because you can see their detection radius.

dont even have to be submerged to get map hydrophone readings. planes dont even attack.

run gr8r risk of damaging the sub via running aground or diving out of control because of bugs.

This is the most realistic WW2 sub game once it is patched and modded with TWoS. Go look some vids on youtube to convince yourself. Problem is : the Steam version could be difficult to mod compared to the PC-DVD-ROM version. But it's possible to mod.
