Still getting Cell Stack Memory Crash
So I tried compatability settings set and I tried run game in 640 x 480 and running in less color mode and it started playing fine and then the minute the enemy attacked me...CELL STACK MEMORY CRASH.... I made sure to quit all background processes of Windows 8 and even quit my antivirus..nope...same issue? I even downloaded the version 1.1 patch from the internet to try to update it to 1.1 rather than steams 1.0 version and it said it could not find HOE

Any solution in sight?

ITs a great game but crashes all the time on Windows 8. I even tried a cracked game of it and could not get it working. The game plays ok for the first 10 mins and then cell stack memory crash all the time!

What's your Ram size? I know that from experiance on windows 7, with the non-steam version, I had to make it so my computer only read 2 gigs of my ram for the game to work properly, since for some reason the game really hates computers with more than 2 gigs of Ram. .-."

It must be related to memory but I am not tearing my PC apart for just 1 game
