How to make shift 2 work

When I first bought this game it didn't I would start career mode and then it would say that shift 2 unleashed has stopped working. But then I figured out a solution.

To fix the problem all I did was change one of my graphic settings.
Switch the MLAA setting to a lower setting in graphic options.
