PTMu mod permanently ruined the game for me it seems

So I installed the PTMu and didn't like it. I couldnt see how to uninstall it so I just uninstalled the whole game. Now upon reinstalling the game, the cars are bouncing. Like, even at the starting line when it's counting down to start the race, the car is literally bouncing up and down like it has hydraulics installed. Not sure what to do since this is a fresh reinstall, so I guess I can't play the game now.
