are there mods for the sims 3? if they are i did not know because i just starting playing this game after skyrim got boring.

there is always mods. there is DLCs though

mods are the best if you wanna make ur game more mature like murder for hire drugs getting drunk, naked ladies and anyting you can think of. My sim is about to reach to reach top boss as a mobster hes just a capo right now but it make the game way more fun if you have mods.

And also you need those expansion packs the game is garbage without them. Wait for a sale sometimes there only 10 to 15 bucks a peice.

know where to get mods besides modthesims.com its just to much info to sign up plus i dont have time i just want to install them
