Dead Space 2
Started playing Dead Space 2 again and came across the first store and it appears to have like 9 suits in there that I can choose from... Is this supposed to happen? I just looked on google and apparently you're only supposed to get the engineering suit that gives no bonuses. /Confused.

Skip that. I have EVERYTHING in the store. (this is a brand new game, not NG+) Why has everything saved in the store? I've only just installed the game on here.

Nevermind... Just found out it was added in as free DLC so now everything is unlocked. Pointless...

If you want, I can link you or upload my copy of DS2.exe as I downloaded version 1.0 before they added all this DLC. I pre-ordered this game on Steam and then never played it after I had completed it twice. Came back to it yesterday after playing through DS1 and noticed all these weapons/armour in the shop which sort of killed the immersion. I just don't like being spoon fed, hand held, through games.

Although you can say; don't use them then! I can't help but get annoyed that they're there in the first place. I like to find the suits etc and it seems really pointless to do so if they're already at your disposal from the very start.

I have played DS2 for 74 hours and the only reason I stopped is because I got DS3 a few days ago. I will be going back to it after DS3 and trying to beat HardCore mode. I think the game has excellent replayability but thats just me.

I had the same thing happen to me. I guess since we bouught the game late it came with additional DLC which steam is very good at including. I'll take it, but if you dont like that just buy the original suite and only the weapons that you find schematics for.

I noticed this when I first bought the game, and ended up buying all of the best items early on! It made the game way too easy, though. I wish they hadn't given the dlc away for free.

I guess I dont mind the free dlc but I dont like the absence of achievements. For me it pretty much eliminates the replay value. There's no reason to play Hardcore mode unless you just want a chalenge, but I've got other games to play. No one is playing multiplayer anymore either so the game is barely worth the price even though its on sale.

Well, you get the best weapon in the game, which is ends up taking away any fear or difficulty in the game entirely, the Pew Pew gun. A foam finger that is typically worn at sports events, but has the ability to tear every limb off a necromorph in one shot anywhere on its body, not to mention that it has one of the highest rates of fire in the game and infinite ammo.
