Helmet lights being cast onto enviornment. DS3
So I'm playing DS3. I'm around mission 5 and noticed something was missing. In the first couple chapters, after you get the EVA suit, you see the lights cast from your helmet, lighting the area around you. It is a very cool effect in the game.

Then, around mission 5, it's gone.

I have everything turned on in the settings, except for vsync, which is enabled through the nvida control panel. All other settings are maxed.

Anyone else getting this? Or is it just me?

Revert back to an old suit maybe

Tried that. I switched over to the 2 that came with the preorder, and the N7 suit, just to see what they looked like. Then went back with the stock EVA for the time being.

Just for the hell of it, I went back to one of the levels where I knew it worked, and it was present. It seems like they only included that eye candy in the very being of the game.

Also towards the end, it seems to me they didn't want the lighting getting in the way of certain areas of the game.

Dead Space 2 also had the helmet light in some rooms, but not others, I'm not sure what triggers this, it would be great if someone managed to make some kind of mod that forces it on all the time

I was wearing the EVA suit when I noticed it at first.

Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem like that's the case. I tried. No lights...
