DS3 is never coming
dead space 3 is never comming to steam like most all EA games so the demo will not come to steam, so either get origin or play it on the XBOX/PS3 so dont hold your breath on new Dead space games comming to steam

What makes you think this is Xbox exclusive? It isn't.

The PC demo is coming on the 22nd, Xbox gets the early access to it. But no it will not be coming to steam you will need to get Origin to play it.

Edit: I had my information wrong, the ps3 demo will be available on the 22nd. As far as i know there will be no PC demo.

I pre-ordered dead space 3 for xbox. And I got acces to the demo one week early.

I'm so thankful I got an xbox in time for this.
P.S. sorry for you that can only play on the PC, like I used to.

Won't we be able to just buy the PC version on disc when it comes to stores?

Lighten up guys!! At least you won't need a monster PC to run DS3 on max settings. According to the recommended system requirements you'll be able to max it out on a five year old system.

Normally I would say of course, because it's a console game that won't bring anything to the table with the PC version, but I honestly have to say that both DS games look amazing. The devs really have a handle of their engine and how to properly optimize games.

As far as the topic, if EA is smart, they'll require you to run the game through origin and won't have a steam code attatched to the physical copy.
