Dead Space 2 is still $70 in Australia? Really?
The retail price in stores here is $15, and that's just the everyday price not counting sales. I understand it's not Steam and the publisher is trying not to outprice traditional retailers - but why are they pricing the digital copy at nearly 500% the local disc copy?

Why even vote for this as the community deal? Dead space 3 will NEVER be on steam and Dead Space 2 was not made by the same talented developers that made the first game.

Dead Space 2 is made by a bunch of ritalin popping michale bay fans for a bunch of ritalin popping michale bay fans. If you enjoyed the first game pretend the sequals dont exsist.

For those Aussies not keen to assume the postion for EA, that like ritalin and michale bay. Keep an eye on cd-key sites as they will likely have the game at the same prices as US steam. Possibly cheaper.

Was going to be all over JC2......

In the Australian Origin store it's $20 - which raises the question why EA are charging an inflated price (compared to both the local disc copies AND local digital copies) JUST on Steam. I'm not even sure that kind of anticompetitive pricing is legal in Australia. Maybe someone can correct me on that?

@James_g1995 Cheers for the offer - but getting a cheap copy isn't a problem for Australians, we can just buy a disc copy for $10-15 from either local stores or from UK importers. I just want to see an end to the unreasonable price hikes from some publishers on Steam.
