Rome: Total War

Rome: Total War

just finished my 1st campaign for Julii; deciding what campaign i should play next; and ? on darthmod
for my 2nd playthrough i installed darthmod and started with the egyptians in the imperial campaign.

im a little confused since there are no peasants to garrison, I THINK the closest would be "nubian spearman". and there are 5 different temples i can build, not sure which does what (isis, osiris, imhotep, set, horus).

is there a complete list of changes that darthmod does? i tried googling it, but it only a listing of a few general changes.

i feel comfortrable with the interface. the only thing i hate is that siege towers are bugged and i dont know if darthmod fixed that. im sure ill be able to pick and understand the different egyptian units.

dunno if i should just stck with vanilla, or try darthmod since i really don't know what it changes comprehensively.

well im playing through darthmod as egyptians, and the damn seleucid took my holy city jerasulem, lolzz.. they pike solder's phalanx has longer spears than my phlanx, so i have to not use phalanx formation and just bum rush them, then flank them with my free units

I used to think that siege towers were bugged, like some people say. However, then I tried having a close look at what I was doing with them, and I discovered that they did work for me, if I was patient. Once the siege tower reaches a wall, I need to wait for enough soldiers to climb the ladders, and then the siege tower drawbridge opens and the soldiers spill out onto the walls. :steamhappy:
