Error message

I've been playing for a few months now and I went to play today (12/30/12) and a window keeps popping up and I can't play. It says:

Update Error

There has been an unexpected error. Please try again.
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a recieve.

Has anyone else experienced these problems?
Does anyone know how I can fix them?

Quite a few people have been having this problem, including me, but it seems nobody wants to actually help with it. theres no replies in the forum and to technical support that i know of

Happened to me breifly, but then everything was back to normal, knock on wood.
