PC version or Xbox 360 version?

Should I wait to get this on the pc on a sale? or should I get both condemned games for the xbox for $9? How different is the graphics comparing the pc and xbox version? Are there any mods for this game (graphics mods or gameplay mods)? Is there multiplayer split-screen on the xbox version or pc version?

If you have 360 then buy it for the console - ther're many advantages over PC version, at least for me - you don't have to care about setting up the game, you just plug in the disc and start playing, full controller support and achievements.
Graphics are the same.
Also if you're going to play the second game - it's only on consoles, so it's better to have both games in one place.

Yeah, I don't mind setting up games for a few minutes, you have to do that for all pc games basically. I still got both for the consoles, just so it more of a collection thing and it's kinda made for consoles anyway.

I don't know why you guys didn't properly answer his question. Someone else might seek an answer, so, here's my response:
The Xbox 360 version has coop, where as the PC version does not. This is the main difference. Outside of that, the PC version could be considered superior, but it has some more bugs on PC. These are, however, easy to fix. So, with the added benefits of mouse and keyboard controls and more consistent framerates, I'd suppose the PC version would be better, even if lacking the coop mode from the Xbox release.
So, for anyone wondering the same thing, this is your answer. If you want the coop, though, you'd be best waiting for someone to mod it in one day.

PC pros: Looks better. Plays better.
Console pros: You can have both CI & C2.
Cons: Both have bugs. It’s an old game. All games have bugs. Not really even a con.

Personal verdict: PC.
If you also have a console then just play the second one when you’re done.

Buy it on console if you have the choice. For one very important reason. This was a game designed to be played with a controller. And when porting it to PC from console they chose not to implement controller support. Why? Reasons. None of them good.

Although it was designed for a console, with a controller in mind, I feel it plays much better on a mouse and keyboard.

Old Post but my response is the PC version has more bugs than the Xbox 360 version. I turned up the resolution and it crashed the first time. Mostly a lot of PC games when you mess with the resolution they crash I don't know why. From what I've seen they both look the same on PC and Xbox 360 though I cannot be too sure. I recently played the 360 and I can't really tell but the PC might be a little Superior for the frame rate and the keyboard and mouse Mobility. The movement was pretty sluggish on the 360 because of the low sensitivity. It's a good-looking game in general and one a masterpiece that should be remastered. But in general the best experience that you're going to have is probably better on the console anyway I don't know if you already bought it for PC or console but just an idea
