looks like the game have been forgotten? its just my impression? or is still worth buying?

Yes this game is still getting monthly updates! You can check out the patch notes in the discussion board under Change-lists: http://steamcommunity.com/app/471400/discussions/3/

I guess for some reason the change lists aren't showing up on the front page? I guess I'll need to double post them in the News section as well.
