AVG threat warning

Says it all really, downloaded game from steam but avg pops up saying threat warning when trying to run- i assume its a false positive but want to see if anyone else has had this issue before i run?

ok i uninstalled and downloaded again but still get threat detected from avg?

im sure its not a virus steam always cheaks out for that and can not release a game with a virus and i hear avg has many false positive along with mcafee

I wouldn't recommend using AVG in the first place - it is clearly not the best choice of antivirus software. It has poor detection rate compared to other free antiviruses such as Avira or Avast.

Avast is very good stops everything you need it too it is 100% free and is one of the top leading free anti virus programs you can find a good clean version on filehippo if google it. i use filehippo for all my pc needs it has everything you need without having to search the internet for dodgey downloads they scan it all just before download starts so you get 100% clean software.

I use Avast...and just add my Steam folder to exceptions on live scanning. :P

Another AVG user here, and yeah, i've had the same issue w/ this game and a couple others, far as i can tell there's no actual virus, something about the coding just makes AVG think it's malware. You're g2g once you whitelist Still Life.
