Ive tried to google the ending but so far, none of the "endings" are scary or have jump scares.

The Last Visit ending was seriously comical. Apart from the endings the game was quite decent in my opinion.

You come to a thread with "Ending" in the title and then complain that someone threw up ending spoilers? Logic = There is NONE, WOOOOOOOOOO!

Anyway I agree, and honestly I do think it was a jump scare and a decent one at that. Jump scares as a tactic are overdone and many modern "horror" games rely on them as the sole source of putting the player on edge. The player gets acclimated to how the game keeps throwing this at them and eventually it just no longer fazes you (see Dead Space as a perfect example, there's SOOOO much "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA LOOK AT ME!" that after the third or fourth time you just don't even bat an eye when it happens).

By contrast this was a perfectly done one. At no other point had we had anything suddenly and unexpectedly tossed in our faces. The game had a palpable sense of unease and tension but never tried to outright take you off guard. So, when it finally did for me at least it worked quite well because I had no expectations that it was going to happen, or time to become desensitized to it.

I’m not sure I’d call it the best ending or anything like that. But it was a very good example of how to do the trope right.

In a post about Scratches ending, someone point out Last Visit ending. A bit disappointing if you still haven't played it :)

Well, just experienced the ''jumpscare'' and I did not scare out because of it. I knew it was in a certain bathroom, but I did not know which. I did guess it was the right one though, so after a while, I just knew the jumpscare was going to be there.
