Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes
Forced Combat Movement Outside of Combat
This has happened to me twice: no enemies anywhere near the party, but I'm forced to move in combat mode anyway. Rather annoying. First happened after retaking the healing monument, then again in the graveyard.

Eh. If anything I'd prefer if it locked me in perpetual combat movement, because automatic pathfinding AI for 8 party members simultaneously moving around Drake and crashing into each other bogs the game down to less than 1 fps. I'd actually cover ground quicker by manually moving them one at a time.

I'm curious as to how they managed to make it so painfully slow. It's nothing Baldur's Gate didn't do with more navigation nodes.

It could be our processors. Mine's an AMD Athalon 64 X2 Dual Core 4800+. The sequel limits the party a bit more, though you do get to 7 at the end. I am starting to see the value of having one character represent the whole party until combat when the party is big.
If you are stucked at battle without enemies just save then load the game.
happened to me a few times to, i just save my game and reload pops it out. or you can run far away from eenemys to get out sometimes
