I verify cache ,atempt run in exe steamapps/common etc, reinstall an nothing.
they (STEAM) sell games that do not work .I pay for smoke.
contact with support team 1st response is ask in forum and 2nd time the silence is your answer (very proffesional steam support).

The games did all work for me then stopped, and non of the tech support solutions i've come across have worked. Tech support also seems non existant. In another thread on this forum someone did get back to me but then didnt respond when i followed it up.

I don't believe for a minute that Steam or the 1C Company are trying to cheat anybody, but posts like this are important. I have all the ToW games but one (Theatre of War 2: Centauro), and they all work great for me. When the "Theatre of War Collection" was on sale recently I didn't buy it because of posts like this. I didn't want to screw up my good luck, and the lack of support was not encouraging.

PS; I wanted the "Theatre of War Collection" so that I had all the games from one place.

Well, it works for others, so it's not the game and therefore it's not Steam... it's your system. "Smoke"? Get your system sorted before tossing around blame that is unwarranted.

Look around on this forum and others and it is obvious that many people are having issues with running this game - me included.

Guess people have PCs and OSs that are too new for it to run properly... :)

For me it started to work agani after i got a new video card. Its a bit hit and miss.

I got in touch with steam support on this same issue and found a solution. They refered me to https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3134-TIAL-4638. I followed the instructions and it works perfectly now. Please try this as I hope everyone can get their game to work.

I bought tow 1 and 2 (2x) tow 1 works, tow 2 afrika and kusk dont already reloaded twice
but still dont work
steam support i would like an solution or my money back (bought 2 december 2015)

These game only runs the way it was ment to with a high end computer, more so a high end graphics card. If you are lucky enough to have one or both then you know what I am talking about. I wonder if some of you aren't more arcade kids who would be more impressed with a commercial game that deals out instant gratification. The TOW series is a slow game, the vehicle speeds are more accurate. If your a kid who likes fast paced games this one is not for you, Stop wasting our time with stupid posts.

All ToW titles work Ok on my system. Then again, I do have a GPU.
