Poor performance
Does this game just not run very well on modern rigs? I have a HD7850 at the start it was unplayable but after some digging about I changed an option in catalyst which improved the performance a bit. But as soon as the fighting starts the fps just drops to 10-20 any suggestions? I used to play this a lot on my old pc and it was fine if i remember rightly.

try unchecking the box that limits the game to using a single core in the options, that can help since the last patch

I've tried that. Maybe a 1 or 2 fps increase, not worth it at all.

7850 isn't that modern, and this game is a cpu dependent game.

I'm guessing you have a AMD cpu

Upgraded my intel cpu to a i5 4670k and it runs fine now.

I have an AMD-8350, a Radeon 9870 and 16 gig of ram and this game runs perfectly, silky smooth. Why I don't know when so many people seem to be having problems.

It Works flawlessly for me. I just wish the AI in the game did what i ordered them to.

This game is as optimised as a toaster.

I have a decent PC, I can run any recent game decently even with maxed out graphics, and I can't manage to reach 15 fps on this 2007 notthatgoodlooking game.

What am I supposed to do ?

I know some people will go like "it's a demanding game blablabla" ... Yeah, sure. How can you explain that either with the lowest graphics, or with everything maxed out, I get the EXACT same fps ?

Recommended :
OS: Windows XP or Vista 32 bit
Processor: Pentium IV or Athlon 2.6 GHz
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Hard Drive: 3 GB
Graphics: Video card with a pixel shader support of 2.x series GeForce 5700/Radeon 9600
Sound: Compatible with DirectX 9 and EAX 2.0 support
DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c

Pentium IV... Powerful CPU, indeed. I'm not saying game requirements are 100% relevant, but they give you an idea of what's and what's not.

There's something wrong with it... I feel like I've just wasted 2€. Oh well, at least I got it during sales.
