wow what a game
its better than part 2 and way worse than part one, overall it gets 1/10 points.
What happened here? No voice acting oh wait there is voice acting when this russian pilot tells you he is fighting and ofc the intro and epilog. So WTF is wrong to have a pilot with alien technologie adaptation? Phantom has it, great but when you could use it this boy walks away ... great! Oh and persucation adaptation? great but i found nota single weapon to use it, even better the end fight is the same like part 1 was, except the dude calls himself sam oh and while you where doing the lazy, unimpressed jobs , people behind you did the really cool quests, like finding sam, talking with him and building the matrix. And the aliens, jsut why? Why put a level with aliens where the background is nearly 1 to 1 adapted from freelancer, yes freelancer, the last boss in freelancer lives in a world build around the sun and thats the same the aliens do, crap its even the same immage >_>. I took my way to long to play this game, how could i know i had to loose this girl in the fights after the alien level? Maybe the devs thought its great to shoot own starships and people are willing to loose ships. The last fight is a joke, 50 restarts, because 60 berserker ♥♥♥used one pilot or the mothership, greeeaaaat. The endboss himself ahs way to much firepower, yeha i cheated i hadn o other choice.

SO DONT GET THIS GAME when you liked part one, its not the same, no vocie acting, alot bla bla and wall of texts in a rpg action game. Well they messed the trilogie lets hope they burie this game.

I didnt even finished the first mission. What am I supposed to do? Why are the controls so bad? Why is there no voice? For me, its a textadventure with bad controls.
You know what? Play old Freespace, that was awesome!

the first 3 missions are a joke, you got a transport without weapons, tahts ok, when you could trade but thats not an option. When you get the Starwolve Mothership yeha, where the hell is the starwolve fratio anyway? So massivly logic problems -.-

It's certainly not right, however you can overcome the endless buggy scripts by saving often and in different slots.

I find the best way to deal with the offensive dialogue is to just skip through it (there's often only one dialogue option to pick) and then just follow the instructions in the mission log.

I actually hope they create a fourth game, not necessarily a follow up Star Wolves as there's nothing special about the game universe, but another title using the same mechanics. It reminds me a lot of the classic title Homeworld, and sadly games like that are few and far between.
