Any other Motherships?

Is there a way to get any other (perhaps hidden) motherships than the ones you get by following the main quest line?
I mean there are so many systems and i feel like there has to be something to find out there.
Unfortunately you can't continue playing after you finished the main story line...

Motherships that you can have, following story and other story paths:
Mastiff
Astarte (optional mothership, you can follow story without it)
Rhino (modification of Star Wolf mothership)
BSF-2t12 (another modification of Star Wolf mothership)
PTS-19 "Star Wolf" (and another modification of Star Wolf mothership)
Prototype cruise Lion Mk2
Mass produced crusier Lion Mk2
Manticore

As you see there is some choice of motherships, but depend from way you choose in story and that is far better than 1st game star wolves where was only one ship durning whole game.

I only managed to get the astarte and then the PTS-19.
I somehow missed out on all the other ones.
Do you have advice how to get all the other ones?

Main story path lead you to moment when you must choose where to go: MSF base, Mercenary Base and Triada base if i good remember, and depends from where you choose to go, following story you will get specifical mothership.
As far i know there is one path when you can go free croos whole galaxy with last and advanced mothership before you back to story line.

there also a mod that you can download where you can get alot of diff motherships and more pilots and unique fighters

@Xanathoss your memory serve you well :) I usually have a soft spot for the merc base :) so that is normally my primary route when I play.
My only grip is that I only have around 3 pilots of the convoy run if I do.

::EDIT:: to be honest i would love to have Hrimthurs heavy missile carrier as a mothership ;)

you can get out all those paths into a new one and if you dont go into any of them you will get the manticore

best advice grey if you just want a different one dont talk to the mercenary council first or last or just avoid them and you will be fine
