What I have concluded that Steam is all about the buck, which is my opinion, we are told by the troll hunters that 3rd party games are the the full responsibility of the developer and not steams they just sell per contract. No responsibility, none. So I say good luck to the troll hunters to stop the truth about bad games being willfully sold by steam to make that buck and leave the customer out in the cold.

Of course STEAM is here to make a buck, they are a company. That's the entire purpose of a business, is to make money. If Steam just sold junk games for a quick buck they wouldn't last very long. I'm sure STEAM does what it can to sell games that work on the majority of customer's computers. However, they can't possibly know about all issues in all games on all operating systems. There are simply too many variables between software, the cusomter's computer, and the operating systrems, as well as other issues like hardware conflics, old drivers, etc etc etc etc.
I can totally understand the frustration when you spend money on a game that won't work, (Been there done that) but don't blame STEAM. A quick GOOGLE search can usally fix any issues going on.

while game runs fine on my system as well, wolfvision is correct.there are many games on steam that take alot of work to get running,if at all and they still sell them with no discloser of well known issues.and then people say should have done your homework.there also should be some responsibility on steams part to let us know.when they know already the issues we will face.so i'll sell you a car you can look at it but not going to let you start it,i'll tell you it runs fine when you buy it and it doesn't run.i'll just say GOOGLE IT.

On windows 7 x64 ♥♥♥♥ with this game 56 min , read all informations about " how make this game run " and game still crash so many times = deleted.

I have to say that this both game's, it rocks, I played the game with os 8.1, and played thru fantastic. 770 gx video card helps. The game does not like vista however, hope it plays in os 10!

itplays fine on win 10..the lost company had a possible bug in chapter 6, but u can ix it easly.anyway, he first game is way much better than the prequel to me.

jep, annother "fine buy", after a short look at the nvida "adverisment-screen" everything ends:
a ... programm does not longer work .... loking for ....
I like 2 spent my mony 4 games that i must work on 2 get em runing:

i played both games andd finished with no issue aprt form the bug i mentioned above.try to control file cache maybe
