Archibald's Adventures F.A.Q.
Q: How do I solve level N?
A: You can watch solutions for most of the levels in the game on this page:
http://www.rakeingrass.com/game_archibald.php#help

Q: How do I change language?
A: The game automatically uses the default language from your Steam client. To change to different language right click on the game in your Steam library and select Properties. Click the Language tab and select the language you wish to play the game in.

Q: Does the game supports XInput/DInput (Direct Input) controllers?
A: Yes, the game supports both XInput and DInput controllers. Many DInput controllers are detected automatically (by using SDL_GameControllerDB database). But some DInput controllers may not be recognized until the controller is configured in Steam.

To configure the controller start Steam's Big Picture mode, enter the settings menu and then the controller submenu. Here you should be able to configure the mapping of the controller buttons to "virtual" controller. Once it is configured the game should automatically pick the configuration from Steam (you don't have to start the game from the Big Picture mode).

Q: How do I report a crash?
A: Write down the crash error message (or just take a screenshot of it) and post it on this forum or send it to us via email (see below). If possible send us also the game's log file. The log file contains more details about the crash and allows us to fix the crash more easily.
On Windows the log file is located in "Documents\Archibald's Adventures" directory, there should be "game_log.txt" file. On Mac the file is located in "~/Library/Application Support/Archibald's Adventures" directory. You can send it to us via email to
