Is there anyway we could get this or a thread like it pinned so we don't have like 20 different threads going on? Anyway, if you're experiencing issues with the game such as massive framedrops after the prologue section here's a list of most known issues and ways people on the forums have figured out how to fix them. AFAIK no one has figured out why most of these things work but they do.

Note: The game seems to have more issues running on beefier rigs than potato PCs but the frame drop issue seemingly affects users at random. It was thought to be an AMD-exclusive issue for most of the day yesterday but as more people actually play the game it seems that this is not the case.

--How to fix frame drops after the prologue--

• Disabling Vsync and running in Borderless Fullscreen has worked for some people. You can force Vsync through your GPU's optimization programs and it'll work as intended; Many users have reported that GSync is not compatible with the game at this time, however.
  
  
• Running the game in Offline Mode has also been confirmed as boosting the framerate at least 10 fps for most users
  
  
• Using resolutions with a 16:9 aspect ratio has worked for a small amount of users
  
  
• Updating your operating system to Windows 10 w/Creators Update has worked for a large amount of users with AMD FX series CPUs but it seems to not work quite as well with users with i5 or i7 CPUs. No one has figured out why exactly this works but I personally endorse this method for users with AMD FX CPUs because it seems to have the highest success rate for people who have tried it.
  (Note: Apparently Creators Update is breaking GSync for people right now so keep that in mind before upgrading)
  
  (UPDATE 4/13/2017 - Several users have reported that the game reverts back to a stuttery, unplayable state at random after installing Creators Update. There is no known fix for this yet but it is advised that NVIDA users do not upgrade to the recent 381.65 drivers because they have been found by several users to reintroduce stuttering and framedrops after they upgraded to Creators Update; rolling back the videocard drivers alleviated the issue).
  
  
• Deactivating the High Precision Event Timer in the PC's BIOS has reportedly worked for a user.
  
  
• Some users are reporting stuttering while HDR is enabled, while others have reported no stuttering with it on. I guess play around with it?
  
  
• A small number of users are reporting that turning off the Steam Overlay is giving them frame boosts.
  
  
• There is a more unscrupulous fix floating around the internet that is against the ToS to discuss on this board that could potentially fix framerate and stuttering issues for users but, I cannot stress this enough, dicussing it is against the Steam Terms of Service and could result in account bans should actual moderators show up in the forums. Please try the other confirmed solutions first and do not ask where you can obtain this file in this thread.

--Game crashes on launch--

• It has been reported that installing vcredist files as an admin is stopping launch crashes for some users.
  
  
• An earlier revision of this post mentioned that the game must be installed on the same drive and partition as the user's Windows installation; this has been disproved by several members of the community and is no longer accurate information.

--MSAA not working--

• It looks like MSAA outside of the 2x setting is broken within the game right now and will need to be patched in.
  
  
• NVIDIA users can force MSAA by using Profile Inspector.[forums.guru3d.com]

--Duplicate, picture-in-picture displays during cutscenes--

• If you use a non 16:9 aspect ratio resolution cutscenes will display on top of themselves in a picture-in-picture window on the top left-hand corner on the screen. It was confirmed in Digital Foundry's video of the game that this is caused by running the game in non 16:9 aspect ratio resolutions and you'll have to change the resolution to something like 1920x1080 or 3840x2160. AFAIK there are no other fixes for this right now.

--21:9 support--

• It looks like official 21:9 support is coming at some point[steamdb.info].
  
  
• A fan patch on the Widescreen Gaming Forums[www.wsgf.org] enables 21:9 support with a centered HUD.
  
  
• A user by the name of Alexander DeLarge has posted a guide to forcing them using HxD. HUD elements and other pre-rendered assets do not scale and will display stretched out.

--Game hangs while accessing leaderboards--

• Some users are experiencing hangs while trying to access the in-game leaderboards. There is currently no known fix at this time.

I'll try and keep this thread updated as we gather more information on how the game works.

Offline, Borderless Fullscreen & No VSync don't work. At the Prolog I have Frames from 15 - 60 FPS and the GPU (1080 Ti) runs @1400MHz and has a load of 11%. After the Prolog the game drops @1fps and the GPU runs in Idle-Clock of 139MHz wir 0% GPU-Load.
I play in 1440p and have a second screen with the windows-desktop activ.

Noctua, what kind of CPU are you using? Offline, Borderless Window, and Vsync haven't been working quite as well for AMD users as it has Intel users.

And yes however, I've already expermiented with all the settings including resolutions. Nothing really helped.
I get 15-30fps with constant stuttering and general choppiness.

Bummmmmmmer. I wish we could get some sort of official word from Sega about this but I don't think they even have anyone monitoring the forums or anything :(

I'll look around some more and see if there's anything else people have done to get it working
