Everything moves like it's underwater, the characters look like mud golems and are cuntpasted from their original games with little to thought put into how they'd work in this game's system. They also often lose a lot of their tools.
For example Hugo can't do ♥♥♥♥ about projectiles without parry, Vega's flipkick isn't invincible, you can beat out Guile's flashkick with a freaking jab. I'm surprised they even remembered to give Zangief's lariot invincibility, but it highlights how useless Hugo himself fares against projectile zoning.
Worst netplay of all years, this year, next year. Worst netcode for a fighting game.
also. So many links. Literally nothing but link combos. Which are easy but have complete zilcn to do with the footsies and matchup strategy that Street Fighter is about. They waste your time.
There is a stalker reading this who has over a thousand hrs but he's a lifeless shut in sociopath who can only play anime games. His life revolves around hurting people so long as he can't get caught out due to Chinese having no sense of guilt and only comprehending shame. And despite vegetating in his anime basement being 100% evil scum of humanity he still isn't any good at the game. Brings me to the big point: The worst thing about this is it's fanbase. Get this straight: One thousand hours of lifelessly hamming their pork claws on the stick and that saltlord still can't play a fighting game worth the crisp of their bacon skin.
Literally the one time anyone ever beat me at this was a guy called Chunkis irl a few years back when I was half drunk and some ♥♥♥ who ejected me from the lobby before I could learn his shtick. Over and over. Great ranked match coding, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s. There are a lot of good players who'd hand my ♥♥♥ to me (mostly because they drilled dumb curleh mustayush links) but the bad to good player ratio is utter trash. And this is probably why the playerbase will perpetually be trash. Getting good at a fighter by playing weak players is like a girl curling 5 lb dumbells over nine thousand times when you easily improve by lifting a heavy weight far less than that.
Did I mention the game sucks? Yes it does.
Play 3rd Strike or Vampire Savior.
