How many people play?
Hey guys,

I'm really interested in getting this game but I don't want to just play against the computer the whole time. I see that forums seem pretty active but I just want to make sure... do many people still play this game? Like if I were to search for a match would I easily find one? Thanks a bunch

You won't have a problem finding matches if you go to endless and ranked with all options at any.

No problems finding matches here either.

Don't worry, you'll never have trouble finding anyone.

If you want to fight someone with a good connection (trust me, you will) you might need to wait up to a solid minute between matches but otherwise you can find one instantaneusly.

I never have any trouble finding anyone, so don't worry alot of people are playing this game and with the upgrade to USFIV there will be even more players in the future.

It's difficult to find a ranked match with a player that is at your skill level. After starting to play the game for the first time ever, personally, I haven't been able to find a single match with the same skill level. However, if you don't mind getting your ♥♥♥ handed like a child it shouldn't be a problem to find a match. Endless matches aren't hard to find, but you might have to deal with a slow connection to it, and usually the lobbies are kinda small, 2 to 3 people from what I've seen so far. You can also look for players that just started playing the game and play 1v1 with them and learn that way. Hit me up if you ever need a newbie practice partner!

Who the hell told you to go right away on ranked online and play multiplayer right when you buy the game.Beat the bots on expert and train before going online.

There are many people online and you won't have problem or lag finding matches

the "unable to connect" message does come up pretty often, but did you check your connection? you can check your "NAT-Type" in GFWL, if it says "moderate" instead of "open" then you know why you get your message that often.

I disagree with both of you. The best way to learn is to get your ♥♥♥♥ handed to you, watch what they do and watch replays of the top players for the character you decide to main.

Finding matches has never been a problem, and like someone already mentioned, check your GFWL network settings to make sure everything is in order. If not, take the steps required to make sure everything is in order (i am asuming you know how to do this for now).

Finding players with similar skill level....select custom match, add in the filters to make this possible to begin with and play. Sure, at times the matchups are one sided.....return to top of post.....learn from these guys.
