Just hearsay on my part, but it would seem there is more lag online with the PS3. And I personally dont have a hard time finding pepole to crush both my spirit and soul online on the PC :)

definitely PC...I tried playing online on ps3 after having spent quite some time playing online on PC and I can tell you I couldn't believe have laggy the ps3 version was...if you are used to the PC version, the ps3 version pretty much becomes unplayable (online).

as any other fighting game is not available for pc the majority of good players stick to their xbox/ps. Check out Eventhubs.com for info & news about whats going on in the fighting game community. Though tekken is a 3d fighter its also featured on the page.

I miss PS3 because I can't freaking get online on pc

PC hands down. I first played vanilla, super and AE on ps3. After I got the game on PC, there's just no competition. Faster searches, online is less laggy, and just runs faster overall (loading wise).

i play on xbox, ps3 and PC

and u can find faster games on PC (EUROPE)

at the ps3 u wait 5-10 minutes for a player to get in ur game
same on the xbox..

all in all i would call the European fighting scene almost dead..
there is just nothing going on at all :(

- Less lag on GFWL (this and the next point are huge selling points in favor of PC imo)
- much faster match making
- more user friendly interface
- better graphics and load times (depends on your PC)

- EVO uses PS3s, there are very rare and tiny differences in timing (<= 1 frame) that matters at the highest level of competitive play, depending on how seriously you take playing this game, it might become a relevant factor.
- Bigger & stronger player base, generally speaking, you'll find that players with the same ranking/points on xbox live or PSN to be far more challenging compared ones on GFWL, which again is a relevant factor only if you decide that you want the stronger competition in order to improve faster.
- Faster updates, when capcom patch these games, console will get it many months in advanced compared to their PC counterparts. This isn't likely to happen for SSF4 any time soon but you never know. And again, the updates tyically only include detailed changes that matter to competitive players and won't effect casual players nearly as much.

Sources: I own this game on both consoles and PC.

Better graphic on PC. But more players on consoles.

I play on Xbox and PC and find PC best. Alot of people say the players are better on Xbox but I went on xbox and won alot more times than on pc. My guess is some people use gamepad on xbox or ps3, They didnt seem to be able to keep up with my pace and i steamrolled alot of people. Another thing is i play SF in windowed mode so i can do other stuff while waiting in a lobby. Cant really do that on my xbox.
