Damn the Netcode is good now

I just had my first 2 hours of multiplay first time since the new update, and the netcode is so damn good now. Capcom really got their act together in the end, really enjoying the game now. I just hope that the PS4 versio will be as good now.

The netcode itself hasn't changed, it's now more compatible with Steam thats everything.

There's always comment on how good the game is online on every update. We'll have to wait for peak hours to truly test if its better.

Simply put, at peak hours there are more people online playing USFIV and pinging your computer with ranked/endless/fight request searches. For reasons unknown to me, the game will keep those search connections open, gradually bringing your connection down as more players search 'ping' you. Kinda like a denial of service attack, really.

Recent Steam updates had some tweaks which makes those P2P connections a bit smoother, which for many players have improved their USFIV online experiences drastically.

but every once in a while you run into people where the match just stutters the whole damn time.

The netcode is good but no one said it works miraculous you could be playing against someone whos maxing his CPU /GFX card out.. with many tasks running in the background while his brothers on the wifi downloading torrents or watching Netflix.

Whos to blame here?
