Moment of SILENCE to the PIE SMUG BOYS. lol
or lets say that SMUG didnt Respect DAIGO's Evil Ryu The way he played it.
Daigo hasnt been the dominating machine he was during the first years of SF4. These days there isnt one street fighter god that beats everyone all the time. Of all the great players out there, they are more or less on the same level. Some of them have good days with 100% execution, and get most of their defensive guesses right, and some other days may be the other way around.
Still I have to say that the US players havent been getting good results lately. The only players that were kind of making the difference and beating japanese gods were snake eyez, dieminion, and pr rog. The problem is that the characters they use arent top tier and have to work extra hard to beat evil ryus, yuns, and akumas. When these 3 players arent at the top of their game during tournaments, its very difficult for them to win, and thats what I think has been happening (especially with snakeeyez).
I mean, come on.
Daigo won 4 rounds (2 - 0 -2). Smug won 3 rounds. (1-2-0).
Who knows what would have happened if this was out of 5 matches instead of 3.
